Art & Wind Festival

With summer just around the corner, The Art & Wind festival is a great way to get some last minute hours in! We have a booth at the festival, and we will be selling Chinese food to fundraise for our club. This event only happens ONCE A YEAR, so make sure you don't miss out on it.

It’s a nice change of pace from school, because you get to volunteer outdoors and enjoy the nice spring weather. Since there’s not always customers at the booth, you get the occasional down time, where you can chat and get to know the people you’re volunteering with. Afterwards, since you’re already at the festival, you can go around and take a look at all the other booths too.

If you can drive, or you have a parent who can volunteer as a driver, PLEASE sign up. We need all those slots filled up!

Some tips I have are...

1. It can get pretty warm in the tent compared to the outside temperature, so dress accordingly. Also wear comfortable shoes, since you'll probably be standing for most of your shift.

2. Communicate with the Interactors inside the booth so that everything runs smoothly and there are no miscommunications! 3. Be polite with the customers you interact with. You'll be representing Cal High Interact, so make sure you are professional.
